Aimelie Professional Background Aimelie is a 2005 graduate of
Advanced Fuller School of Massage Therapy, located in Virginia Beach,
VA. She passed the N Aimelie is a Professional Member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). She adheres strictly to the ABMP and NCBTMB Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, and Policies and Procedures. Aimelie has training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Deep Stone, CranioSacral, PreNatal, and Chair Massage for the workplace. Aimelie specializes in chronic neck, shoulder and back pain. Aimelie is also a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner. She moved here to Virginia in 2002 because of her military obligations. Aimelie joined the Coast Guard back in 1997 and became an Electronics Technician. She was stationed in New Jersey, Seattle, California, Hawaii and here in Virginia and also got to travel all throughout Alaska, Texas, New York, Boston, Miami, Guam, American Samoa, Christmas Island and Johnston Atoll. She worked her way up to First Class Petty Officer and after 9 years, decided to take a new direction in her life. Aimelie knew she always wanted to be in a job that helped people (she joined the CG because of it's life saving mission). She realized that while her overall contribution to the CG did help people, it didn't satisfy the one-on-one interaction that she wanted in helping people. Aimelie became drawn to Massage Therapy and started attending massage school her last few years in the CG. She was previously working in a Holistic Wellness Center and a Day Spa before starting her own business. She gained valuable experience not only in refining her technique, but also understanding what the client is really asking for in their session. While working with these clients, she found her passion in pain management and rehabilitative care. Aimelie is currently residing in Chesapeake, VA with her 2 beagles, Lucky and Bailey.
